Well...
22 months is the gestation period of an elephant...the LONGEST gestation of any mammal.
Well except for international adoption that is...
Either way we are 22 months closer to Pumpkin and we have had 22 months to become GREAT friends with Dolores and Shawn with whom we will be traveling with to China.

I like to consider myself an alpine black salamander... depending on altitude, they can gestate for up to 38 months. If the wait goes beyond that (sigh), then I'll just morph into a frilled shark, which lives off the coast of Japan and gestates for 42 months. Hang in there!!!

As much as this wait sucks(we're only just slightly ahead of you guys), I would not have met some of the most amazing people if not for it. At least I can be grateful for that.

Happy 22....I have to say it is VERY cool that you have found such great pals who will be on the journey with you in China.
I've met lots of fabulous people but no one with whom I'll be traveling yet.
