Stuff

I am in a blogging rut. Not just posting but with reading also.

Most of the blogs that I read are Chinese adoption blogs and frankly, they are generally a bit stale these days. There is not much happening in the program. No one is getting excited about their referrals - there are no referrals coming.

What blogs do you read - even if they are adoption blogs I am thinking that I want to expand my repertoire.

Today the weather warmed up to -1C. What a nice break from yesterday's start of -29C.

We are having friends over on Saturday. This makes me happy.

The days are SLOWLY getting longer. Again, this makes me happy.

Dinner was really good tonight. I even have leftovers for lunch at work tomorrow.

I wish I was more creative.

I have a girls lunch on Sunday - looking forward to that.

Will the groundhog see his shadow? How much longer will winter be?

My bamboo plant never seems to change. Doesn't grow, doesn't die. Odd

I am really liking the new show OFF THE MAP.

I have a spot on my back that gets itchy all the time. It is the same spot.

That's about it for me right now.

I understand about the rut. That's why my blog has become so flaky.

I now follow some crafty blogs as well.

Our deep freeze also broke last week. It was just too bitter for my Spanish blood.

You didn't tell us about Saturday. Pencil us in :).

I'm so happy the days are getting longer. It's not dark outside when I leave work now.

I'm glad you had a good dinner. I'm waiting for mine.

You are more creative than you give yourself credit for. I've seen you scrapbooking.

Again, you didn't tell me about Sunday. Pencil me in.

Winter is too long no matter what.

I don't have plants because I am a plant murderer.

I haven't seen it, I may look it up.

Sorry about the constant itchiness. Hopefully it will go away soon.

I somehow posted twice. I don't know how that happened.

I have unsubscribed to the majority of adoption blogs I used to read (and not just because we are no longer adopting). There was a lot of negativity out there and I decided I wanted to read more positive and uplifting blogs. I will email you some of the links.
I just noticed the other day that it was no longer dark when I am making dinner. This made me happy.
I want spring to come early.
I have not heard of the show you are talking about. Would I like it?
My legs are so itchy right now. I could scratch them until they bleed. It hurts so good.

I was in the same boat as you before we pulled out of the China Adoption. I just could not read them for awhile. I read some blogs that are about parenting, arts and crafts, someone struggling with IVF, some military wifes and I always read post secret!

I wish I could crash your fun party times!

I am in a rut like yours...sigh

I now read a lot of crafty blogs to find things to do with D and food blogs for weekly menu planning.

Keep smilin!

I find blogging ruts come and go for me too. Weird.

I don't read too many blogs right now. Need to find some new stuff.

The warm weather was such a great change! Almost felt like bikini weather after yesterday. Heh...not!!

What did you have for dinner? Always looking for new, yummy options. We had soup and cheese. Nothing too exciting here today. Had nachos yesterday. A friend made some last week and I was in the mood to have them again.

Cannot wait to see you Saturday!!

Longer days are sheer bliss! It's light when I pick Hannah up at daycare which means we miss our 'find the moon' game but I'll happily give that up for daylight!

I'm the same as D&S- no plants as I'm a plant murderer too.

One extra point for me - I miss you!!

I like Off The Map too.

Very glad the days are getting longer. One of the lights in my kitchen went out and someone hasn't gotten around to fixing it (it isn't a blown bulb). I need the light.

Have a great party.

You already are a creative person - the fact that you decided to adopt from China proves it! You might be interested in this article on creativity I just read the other day: http://www.oprah.com/spirit/How-to-Unleash-Your-Creativity
