Assistance Please

While I am in agony over my back, it seems that the only chair that is comfortable is my computer chair!! Go figure. The couch is too soft and the other chair in the living room, my feet don't touch the ground. So here I am in front of the computer - poor me...heehee

So while I am sitting here and getting all caught up on my blog reading, I thought I might do some blog maintenance also. I see everyone with all these different headers and I don't know where they get them from. I have tried searching and I don't come up with ANYTHING exciting or nice at all.

If anyone would like to share their secrets with me, I would really appreciate it! Then I will ATTEMPT to change it on my own - that could be interesting!!

I haven't got a clue how to change it. I'm afraid if I tried I'd end up erasing everything. Sorry to hear about your back. Have you tried a nice hot bath with epson salts and then tuck up in a nice warm bed.

I've pulled my back before and had to see a massage therapist.

Sara Lane did my blog. She's great. I've seen quite a few that she's done. I myself don't have that talent.
Hope you're feeling better. Too bad (wink, wink) that the only comfortable chair is the computer chair.
Seriously, I hope you'll be feeling better soon.

So sorry your back is still bothering you. It's rough that you have to sit in front of the computer. :)

I bought mine at mastheadfactory.com ($20 just for the header no design). They give you instructions for installing it, but they will also help you if you have trouble.

Can't wait to see what you come up with!

Heather did mine also. She is fantastic. I actually have 4 that she made so I can swap them out.

Sounds like you've got lots of suggestions...I didn't have any to offer anyways, but I can't wait to see the new look! Good luck!

Thanks for responding to my blog, and letting me know who one of my lurking blogger readers are. Since I opened it, it has spread like the ebola virus, and heaven know's I don't have that much to say. Well, okay so I do, it's just not useful. LOL. Sorry to hear your back is out, and no one knows back pain, until they have been flattened by it. Hope you find some great 'happy' pills soon. I mean pain meds, yeah, that's it. I recognize your "home from china" families. Glad you are all supporting each other. N-E wayz. Later
Senja.

Looks like you've got lots of suggestions.

I've retired (egad) but the other gals are still at it as you can see. They are awesome.

Yoga might help. I don't like to do yoga with many people, but after you learn a few moves they are easy to do at home. Usually the back moves aren't very pretzel like :)

I have a herniated disc and when it acts up, no, there is no comfortable position for me other than walking if you can believe it! Hubby has a FEW herniated discs and he too has an issue sitting in a soft chair of couch. In fact, our livingroom set isn't even 2 years old yet and we have to replace it because he can't sit on it for longer than an hour without being in pain...

As for the header, I have a little "make some money for the adoption" side business with customizing blogs. You can get more info at www.blogittymakeover.blogspot.com if you're interested!

If not, no biggie - I just can't wait to meet you in a few weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Be well,
Heather

I'm a little jealous about everyone's fun blog headers too. I would like to spruce things up, but I don't dare to try it myself. I'm gonna have to pay for it.

I just found a website that had the whole code written out, all I had to do was copy and paste.

I hired someone to design my headers - I've had two of them. It's nice to have something that reflects your personality. Can't wait to see what you come up with!
