Well it appears that, today anyway, spring has sprung!!
I DON'T know this by the extra hour of daylight in the evening that we are currently enjoying.
Nor do I know this by the wonderful BBQ dinner I cooked tonight.
Neither is it the snow that is ALMOST melted.
But what does tell me that Spring has Sprung is the PUNGENT smell of SKUNK that I am currently experiencing!!

We frequently head to a park near us and Lily always says, we are nearly there, when she can smell the skunk. For some reason it ALWAYS smells like a skunk.
I think I better go shut my windows if you can smell it! Luckily it hasn't made it to my basement yet!!!

I was picturing a wonderful spring evening ~ then BLAM ~ the skunk. Sorry for the stink, but thanks for the laugh!
AH......the lovely smell of skunk in the spring. Enjoy! :-)
Haha! Nevermind everything else, as soon as you smell skunk, spring is in the air!
We had a BBQ dinner Sunday night ourselves it was so wonderfully warm!! Glad that you enjoyed, too!
Yikes!!! The other morning, I saw bunny tracks in the snow on our front lawn...today we have no snow on our front lawn to speak of. What the...?
Tomorrow is supposed to be even warmer!
Well...it was lovely until that last line.
I hear ya....err smell ya friend! Yesterday morning while working out at the gym a skunk let go right outside the door of the gym. Ewww!
Enjoy today's wonderful weather! So nice to go without a winter coat and boots. 3 cheers for spring!
They're baaaaaaaaaaaaackkk!
I smell them too. But don't jinx us...I was born in a snowstorm and we can still be hit with one!
Keep smilin!
I was about to write F.I.N.A.L.L.Y. -- until I got to the skunk part.
At my husband's old apt. (while we were dating) it used to always smell like skunk -- he said there was one who used to travel the little alleyway in between his building and the next during the night. Needless to say, we spend more time at my apt.
mmmmmm....I've smelled a skunk or two lately also!! Welcome Spring.
This weather is heavenly.....
I don't know where it came from, but here's to hoping it stays around!
Oh my!, that doesn't sound very nice! The flower smell will soon take over...just hang in there!
I actually like the smell of skunk . . . I know, very strange but it's true.
